Practical Nursing Evening

About

The mission of the Practical Nursing program is to prepare students through classroom and clinical training to be productive members of the healthcare team.  Applicants should have good mental and physical health, high morals, ethical standards, and an interest and aptitude for the occupation of nursing. The length of the course is 16 months. Completion of the program results in a practical nursing diploma. Applicants should be aware of a mandatory criminal background and drug screening that is required. All applicants must take and pass the HESI exam with the minimum requirement to considered for acceptance into the program.  The HESI exam is $50.00.

The next LPN evening program begins September 3, 2024.

Prospective applicants should complete the following steps:

Submit the online application to TCAT-Pulaski.  You will need to come in the office for additional paperwork and to return your packet. ACT scores or Entrance exam scores are to be included in the packet.

Pay for and schedule HESI entrance exam or submit acceptable ACT score of 19 in reading and 19 in math. The HESI entrance exam is $50.00 and must be paid in order to reserve a spot. This fee is non-refundable. After paying and scheduling, you will be given a reminder sheet with your time and date for the test.  If you are a no show for your scheduled test time, you forfeit the $50 payment.  You will then have to pay $50 and reschedule the exam.
